The aim of the first study was to assess the impact of public interventions within the programs realised in the period 2000-2008 on cohesion within the region in the social, economic, functional and spatial realm. The research will assess extent of influence of external funds on transformation of Łódź Voivodeship into coherent socio-economic region and show recommendations in that range with reference to ROP for Łódź Voivodeship.

The second study was a socio-economic analysis of Łódź region, focused on mutual interactions between integration/disintegration processes within the region and external competitiveness.
