Preparation of the review of records included in the draft of the Medium-Term Country Development Strategy 2020 in the scope of strategic area II. Competitive Economy and for the Financial Framework

Implementation of the project included two phases:

Phase I - Review - refered to the strategic area II. Competitive Economy. The purpose of the review was to:

1. submit a proposal for the layout and content of the part concerning increase in macroeconomic stability (outlining additional perspectives, especially the macroeconomic environment in the years 2010-2020)

2. conduct an analysis and verification of records of the indicated strategic area in the field of:

- increasing the efficiency of the economy

- more innovative economy

- increasing employment by developing skills and qualifications and stimulating economic activity

- increasing the use of digital technologies in the economy

- ensuring the rational use of energy and natural resources

- increasing the efficiency of transport

3. propose the necessary adjustments and additions to the records included in the indicated area

4. a short justification for the proposed corrections and additions

Phase II - Presentation of the assumptions underlying the funding opportunities for projects listed in the Medium-Term Country Development Strategy from the public funds:

1. preparing revenue and expenditure projections of public finances up to 2020

2. providing the desired structure of public expenditure for development purposes in the context of long-term goals.
