Identification and delimitation of problem and strategic intervention areas in Poland

The first stage of the project is a strategic and axiological part:

• The problem / strategic intervention areas definition together with indication of the fields of national regional policy intervention and suggestions of the country policy goals towards those areas
• A diagnosis within regional diversities in Poland in reference to rules and assumptions of problem / strategic intervention areas identification
• Preparing diagnostic part of the report in accepted structure (centre of concentration: periphery, east - west, city - village, internal diversities within metropolitan areas)

The second stage of works is a methodology and diagnostic part:

• Preparing information data base (static and dynamic data)
• The indicators analysis in accepted structure of categories
• A synthesis of data analyses results with problems initial identification that potentially should be covered by intervention / subject of the country policy
• The problem / strategic intervention areas typology together with indication of identified development challenges scale
• Formulating conclusions and recommendations for documents of strategic character (mainly to the Regional Development National Strategy) as well as for documents of operational character (mainly operation / development programs directed to the problematic areas.
