The overall objective of the project is to fill the information gap by providing a projection of the socio-economic situation of Mazowieckie Voivodship in two sections:
1. The project will provide long-term, variant projection of basic macroeconomic categories, divided into forecasts for the the labor market, enterprises condition, vulnerability to changes in the macroeconomic situation arising out of the business cycle and changes in economic policies
2. The medium-term forecast of supply and demand in the labor market by professionals, for subregions will be formulated.
A key element of the project will be to develop practical application to enable prediction of the impact of specific economic changes resulting from external disturbances, and central and regional economic policies on socio-economic situation of this region. As a result, the provincial government and the regional labor market institutions and business environment receive a tool to enable them planning for rapid and effective actions. In the event of unexpected changes in the economy it will allow to immediate examine the likely impact without having to commission a new study.
