The study will consist of two parts:
Component 1 - Overall mapping of the existing public financial instruments in support of innovation and enterprise development - the aim of this component is to gain picture of the current status of the programs, their perceived effects and challenges.
Component 2 - Diagnosis and recommendations on enterprise support mechanisms - the aim of this component is, first, to assess the current performance of Polish firms and their innovation effort (broadly defined as both the generation of new and absorption of existing knowledge) relative to comparable firms in other European Union countries; second, to relate these findings to the uptake of the enterprise support measures identified under Component 2 and identify areas of potential unmet demand.
