Completion date: 30.06.2009

The European employment strategy underlines the growing need to combine flexibility and security of workers. The 'flexicurity' attempts to find the right balance between those two aspects. Although an individual approach and a differentiated design are necessary, there are 'flexicure' measures that could cooperate universally. The project creates a platform of communication and enables data based comparison of lessons learnt by employers organizations from 3 targeted countries: Poland, Estonia and Hungary. The aim is to find common denominators for the 'flexicurity' in the countries involved but also differences that demand an individual approach. The general goal of the project is to assess the situation on the labour market of the participating countries, compare relevant findings, identify the best practices and lessons learnt, thus enhance expertise and knowledge of the participating organizations and prepare them to build a comprehensive 'flexicurity' strategy to be presented and discussed as a follow up action of the project.
