The essence of the project "ElaStan - Promotion of flexible work posts and protection of the companies' intellectual potential" is to deliver knowledge and tools allowing for the implementation of the Flexible Forms of Employment which serves the support workers' and enterprises' adaptive capacities to the structural changes in the economy and supports the use of ICT on the labor market.
The project is carried out by a group of institutions creating so called Development Partnership that actions are financed by the EQUAL Community Initiative. The Institute for Structural Research as one of the partners engaged in the project was responsible for the model ELASTMOD creation serving assession of the Flexible Forms of Employment impact on the local labor market. The ELASTMOD model allows forecasting the impact of labour market policy in the following areas: organization of the adjustment process of the supply and demand for the particular kind of work, impact on the productivity of work of particular kind and on the fiscal policy adjustment. The model is provided with "user's interface" application enabling easy use of the model on the local level.
